2.5 rounded up. Brad annoyed me throughout most of the story and his impending nuptials was present in the back of mind the whole time. Did enjoy the ending though and the sex scenes were pretty good.
3 stars. Still enjoying this series, but I feel like the last two books should of been a bit longer to flesh things out a bit more. At some points it felt like I was scrambling to keep up with the pacing of the plot. While the romance was nice, it definitely took a backseat to the action in this one.
Gumption & Gumshoes
4 stars. I loved Auggie! A chinchilla shifter! And he was so awkward and chubby and nerdy. And Sam was awesome. A bit older and grouchy, but really just a softy underneath it all. They were really just perfect for each other.Recommended :)
3 stars. I read the first book in this world and remember enjoying it alot, but it's been alot of books since then and I couldn't remember all the secondary characters. So I'm not sure if the MC's in this book where introduced already and that threw me off a little bit. (maybe I should of done a reread first!) I was quickly caught up in Ron and Zaoh's adventures. And the sexing was hot! *fans self* Though I would of liked to have read Zaoh's thoughts/feelings. Will be reading more of this verse if the author continues with it. :)
3.5 bumped up to 4. Enjoyed this story, but not as much as some of her other work I've read. Still a good solid read with some yummy MC's and a little mystery thrown in.And that cover! Guh!
Blond Truth
2 stars. This was basically one long sex scene with insta-love and possessive!dom/bratty!sub thrown in. Which is all well and good, but I think I was expecting something with a bit more emotion involved. The whole blurb is about the guy who's so pretty, but noone 'knows' him. Well, by the end of the book, I still didn't really know him. I know he was an architect because he mentioned it once (maybe twice). Oh, and he was good looking. And Ben was extremely possessive after one night together. (says let's take it slow and then really doesn't)OK for a fluffy, light sex filled read.
3.5 stars bumped up to 4. Very good debut novel with an interesting world. I'm really hoping the author continues in this verse because there were a few loose ends and I want to see some of the minor characters get their HEA!
Really enjoyed this one! Can't wait until the next book (which is really why I should wait until more of the series is out before I rush off and read something!) Anyone know when the next book is due out?
3.5 stars. Enjoyable read (I've liked everything from this author so far), but I'm pretty sure this story started as Teen Wolf fanfiction. There was a bunch of little things that just added up to that (King Deucalion, ex-lover starting a fire and killing off your family.) Sexy characters (and scenes!) either way. :)Didn't really effect my overall enjoyment, but did keep niggling the back of my mind.
The Only Way Out Is In
Now that was one kick ass free read! Loved Jacqs (which based on the blurb, I didn't think I would) and would love to read more of this verse.

I loved this! Sweet romance between Blaine and Spencer (secondary characters from 'A Betting Man'). I'm hoping the author does Slater and Casper's story next. :)
