30+ mother of two, fiance of one; who loves to spend her free time reading m/m romance and the occasional paranormal romance or horror books.

Denying Yourself - Silvia Violet Holy angst! I knew this would be angsty, but the angst just seemed to go on, and on, and on...

And while I liked the characters once they had their sh*t together (meaning, almost the end of the book), I didn't really like Shane for most of the book. I knew he had serious issues with his wolf stuff, but I kind of just wanted to smack him half the time. And the whole 'pack orgies are a-ok' didn't really work for me either.

Still love this author though :)
Summer Lovin' - J.L. Merrow, Chrissy Munder, Clare London, Josephine Myles, Lou Harper Overall I'd give this one 3.5 stars.

Individual ratings under the spoiler tag;

Summer Hire By Chrissy Munder - 3.5 stars. Very cute and sweet read about a former bad boy turned good and his summer hire. Good chemistry and HEA ending.

Lost And Found On Landisfarne by JL Merrow - 4 stars. I loved this. The Viking actor and the single dad. Sweet and sexy good times.

Salt and Vinegar by Clare London - 2 stars. This was my least favorite story. I was expecting sweet summer loving, and instead got a boatload of issues, angst, and abuse. Which I could of worked with, but the story ended on a maybe HFN. Maybe.

Werewolves of Venice Beach by Lou Harper - 3 stars. This one was tough for me to rate. I liked the plot and most of the quirky characters. (and the 'twist' of the name) But I really just didn't like one of the MC's. He seems to shamelessly use people and never really redeemed himself by the end of the story.

By Quarry Lake by Josephine Myles - 2.5 stars. Childhood friends meet up again when one moves home. This one didn't grab me like the first two, but it was sweet.

An Unauthorized Field Guide to the Hunt

Dirty Little Secret - Ella Sheridan 3.5 stars bumped up to 4 because I enjoy this author's writing. Did love Lore and Shane together and the plot was great but I did feel like the book should of been a bit longer (I had a ton of unanswered questions about the hunt itself).

Don't Trust the Cut

Don't Trust the Cut - Kade Boehme 3 stars. Took me quite awhile to warm up to Jesse and by the end Tucker was annoying me. Still, story kept me interested and I wanted to see how these guys resolved their problems.
Designs of Desire - Tempeste O'Riley started off ok, but wayyy too much going on that's never really explained or glossed over. and I didn't think James needed someone who treats him like a child, takes over his life, and makes all his decisions for him. after everything the poor guy went through, he needed a partner who made him feel stronger and more independent.
The Current Between Us - Kindle Alexander 3 stars. I liked this story, I really did, but I think I was expecting more from all the amazing 4 and 5 star reviews on here. I didn't really feel the 'current' between these guys. Yeah, they were hot for each other, but I kind of skimmed the sex scenes by the end. And seriously, there was just a lot of penis olympics going on (even at 35%, the amount of times the MC's junk got hard, half hard, or were about to get hard was ridiculous). But the guys were sweet on each other and I love a story with kids. I'll will try something else from this author again.
The Truth about Riley - Henrietta Clarke 2.5 stars rounded up. I liked the story, I liked the characters, but I would've liked it alot better if it was half the size. For me the story dragged on and on. And the ending? Not sure if I'll read the next book or not (think I'll have to see how long it is first)

An Unlocked Heart (Collars and Cuffs, #1)

An Unlocked Heart - K.C. Wells 3 stars. I enjoyed the book, but I think I was expecting more angst. Plus, there was so. much. sex. not that it wasn't hot :)
But For You (A Matter of Time #6) - Mary Calmes OMG, I can't wait!!!!

Enrick (The Matik Masters, #2)

Enrick (The Matik Masters, #2) - J.C. Wells Again, just when the story starts to get interesting, it ends....
Friends or Lovers? - Sara York Good for a free read, but ended just as the story was getting started.
Six - Tara Spears This was another story that started out good, but then everything went crazy (literally, there was all sorts of life changing events being thrown out there and these guys stuck together after only knowing each other a short amount of time). Good for a free read.

Apartment 1209

Apartment 1209 - Elizabeth Lister Loved this one! I'll have to check out more of this author's work.

Rayce (The Matik Masters #1)

Rayce (The Matik Masters #1) - J.C. Wells Nothing really new with werewolves here, but I still enjoyed it. unfortunately a very short read. (and kinda pricey for only 37 pages...) Basically ended just when it was getting going. Will try to next book since I liked this one.
As He Watches - Finn Marlowe Loved this one too! Smoking hot and wish it was longer so we could see what else happens with these guys.
Bound by Danger - S.E. Jakes Hot guys, hot sex, and good writing. I do love this series. :)
